My name is Felicia Niemeier. I create bold, beautiful, contemporary paintings. My most recent works are smaller oils, in a variety of subjects. In the past my works included a number of figurative pieces, but more recently I have moved into abstract landscapes.
Now, a little about myself..
Over ten years ago I moved to Virginia and started a business to sell my artwork. I fill most of my days creating House Portraits and have a long list of loyal clients who order Pen and Ink Drawings and Watercolor Paintings.

Some information about my background..
I am originally from Iowa. I have been drawing and painting since childhood. I attended several colleges including: The Minneapols College of Art and Design, Warren Wilson College (a small college in the mountains near Ashville, NC), Otis-Parsons College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, and Ecole nationale superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris, France. I spend my time now divided between creating the art I love and creating Portraits.
I have had several group and solo shows throughout the years. I have had my art published in Christies Homes, Home & Design, Children's Books, Maps, Calendars, and used on signs. All accomplishments which I am very proud of. The greatest compliment and accomplishment for me as an artist is to see my artwork in other people's lives.
